starting my one-a-day fanart gig got delayed a day by excess schoolwork (i am going to punch humanities class in the liver) but here is day one: Pride and Prejudice.
P&P will always have a little warm fuzzy spot in my heart; last year I got to play Lizzie Bennet in my school’s production and gosh, the story is so great. Everyone is deliciously sassy. The common misconception about Jane Austen is that everything is romance-gushy and melodramatic, but oh my god her novels are actually snark machines dressed in lace and it’s wonderful.
